Double Pane

A double pane, also known as double-glazed or insulated glass, refers to a window or glass panel that consists of two layers of glass separated by a space filled with air or inert gas, such as argon. These layers are sealed together around the edges to create a single unit. Double pane windows provide better insulation compared to single pane windows because the trapped air or gas acts as a thermal barrier, reducing heat transfer between the inside and outside of a building. They are commonly used in residential and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency and comfort by reducing heat loss in cold weather and heat gain in hot weather, as well as minimizing noise transmission.

Spacers

The ordering process was easy, delivery was fast (and cheap…even though it was about 2500 pounds of glass, for a 135 foot railing), and the service throughout the experience was great. The products themselves are very high quality (don’t be fooled buying cheap spigots on Amazon, buy the heavy ones from these guys), and the glass is very strong and crystal clear. When I was missing one tiny part (little plastic spacers), it arrived couriered the next day at no charge.

And bear in mind, all of this was during a pandemic in early 2020…these guys managed to get it done even though the world was in a very weird place.

Just placed another order for a different project and I wouldn’t think about purchasing from anyone else…this is a great little Canadian company.

Please allocate a timeframe of 3 to 4 weeks for the shipment of your order. Each glass pane is carefully packaged individually to facilitate hassle-free unloading and handling. For optimal protection, the entire order is bundled and shipped on a sturdy wooden pallet. Once the carrier picks up the order, a tracking number will be provided to you for easy tracking of your shipment.

For the delivery of your order, a signature will be required upon receipt. In the case of smaller orders consisting of 3-4 glass panes or less, the delivery will be made directly to your doorstep. For larger orders, we provide free curbside delivery, which requires your assistance in unloading the order alongside the driver. If needed, we can also arrange tailgate delivery upon request.
